A Pre-Wedding Portrait shoot of a couple at Tamarind Tree
Valentines day is a special day for most couples across the world. It gets extra special for couples when it becomes their wedding day too. February 14th this year was chosen as their wedding date by this lovely couple – Deepti and Mohit. They contacted me to get a Couple Portrait shoot done with the main purpose of using the photographs for their Save-the-Date invites.
After scouting for location across Bangalore city, we found Tamarind Tree to be an ideal choice for our shoot. It was a short notice, but luckily the venue was available on our shooting date. Without wasting any further time we got the place booked for this shoot.
Tamarind tree is one of the most popular wedding destinations in Bangalore. Located off Kanakapura road, the property is located in a five-acre garden. It is beautiful venue with brilliant backdrops from a pond, and lush green lawns, to a lot of vintage architecture. The setting makes for some timeless photographs. I have shot quite a few weddings at this venue and also have attended many weddings of friends here. This was the first time that I had got this venue exclusively for a portrait shoot.
The above gallery has some of my favorite photographs from this shoot. We spent an entire morning on the shoot and ended it at lunch time with a fine and luscious meal cooked by the Tamarind Tree staff.
