Suddenly when you notice an increased traffic to your website, especially in a week when you haven’t posted any new content, one of the reasons  could be a media interview. That’s what happened when my interview by Khristina Jacob of  Yahoo India Lifestyle got published on their portal, and was featured on their homepage.

A month ago I was interviewed by Yahoo India Lifestyle correspondent Khristina Jacob. The questions centered around my perspective as a photographer and as a visual storyteller in the context Indian weddings. The questions ranged from where and how I had started as a photographer, to a deeper perspective to my approach in making images. I had forgotten about the interview until couples of days back when I was told that the article was published, and was featured on the portal’s homepage.

The article titled as “Weddings, Through the eyes of a Visual Storyteller” was shared on Yahoo India’s Facebook page and Twitter handle, and it went viral shooting up my website traffic to a record high. It was also picked up by my past clients, family, friends and was re-shared all over.

I am quiet overwhelmed by the responses, comments and queries received since the last two days.  This a peak wedding season in India and I have been busy with photography assignments. The requirement of contemporary candid wedding photographer in India is at an all time high and the industry can only continue to grow further from here. It is a good time to be a wedding photographer in India. I have taken this weekend off to reply to all the queries and emails received in connection with this article. It feels good to reach the year-end on a happy note.  Here are few screenshots of the of the published article on Yahoo India Lifestyle.
