An engagement session or a pre-wedding couple shoot gives an opportunity for a couple to get their portraits taken at a leisure pace away from the crowded wedding day. From a minimalistic approach to some grand plans, a couple shoot can be done in a variety of ways. Earlier, I had posted about a minimalistic, fun and candid driven prewedding shoot which I had done in the streets of Bengaluru city. Here, is a photo-shoot of a couple done in a diametrically opposite fashion – lights, costume, camera crew and a picturesque location located on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Elements Celebrate is a lovely outdoor wedding venue located off Kanakapura road, very close to the Art of Living ashram. The property has a couple of lush green lawns, very nicely done landscape and few gazebos/mandaps where the wedding ceremonies are held.
Apart from it being a wedding and event venue, round the year couples and families hire the space for prewedding, maternity, newborn and family photo shoots. This is a good and affordable space, considering the recent curb in photography in some of the popular public spaces like Lal Bagh.
Earlier this year, the couple – Harpreet+Amarjit – were to soon have their wedding in their home state, Punjab. But, before heading back home for the D-day, the couple wanted to get some memorable portraits of themselves in the city. This venue provided some nice setting for half a day for them to get their portraits made in multiple costumes. We thoroughly enjoyed this session and wish H+A a very happy married life.
